Facilitator Spotlight: Erica St. Bernard

Erica St. Bernard, Licensed Clinical Marriage & Family Therapist, Macedonian Ministry Cohort Facilitator, Washington, D.C.

Erica, why did you say, “Yes!” to being the Facilitator of this cohort?

“I accepted the invitation to be the Facilitator for this cohort in order to create safe and sacred space for clergy men and women to explore and discuss how life within and beyond ministry impacts us and those we serve. It is my hope that our time together yields authentic, life-long, faith building connections that benefit us and those we’re connected to for years to come.”

Meet Erica!

Erica A. St. Bernard, Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist, is a regarded therapist working with individuals and couples to identify their strengths while developing new skills/insights to improve the quality of their lives and relationships. She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and has served as a facilitator for a 12 week course entitled “Marriage God’s Way” designed to help couples prepare for marriages that endure. In January of 2017, she launched her private practice, Your Life’s Well, LLC in Bowie, MD, where she sees adolescents, individuals, and couples with a range of personal and relational challenges in addition to mental health issues. She seeks to end the stigma of mental health by promoting awareness and fostering open dialogue so that individuals, couples and families can be well, live well and love well. 14 years ago she married her best friend, Russell K. St. Bernard, and together they have a precocious 4 year old daughter. She serves on the ministerial team at Kingdom Fellowship African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and as a co-leader of the Women’s Ministry.
