Mr. Wil McCall
Wil McCall is a foremost expert in leadership development. He has mentored hundreds of leaders across the country and provided oversight to Dallas Leadership Foundation, a Texas nonprofit organization with a $2.0 million annual budget since 2002. As a not-for-profit executive with over 30 years of business experience, Wil provides fiscal management, strategic planning, and executive coaching services for nonprofit agencies and professionals. With a specialty in strategy development, community engagement, financial oversight, and efficient program delivery; he is skilled at mobilizing high performers to positively impact their communities. Wil leads a staff of 26 while offering ongoing executive coaching to six non-profit organizations.
Since taking the helm as President of Dallas Leadership Foundation, Wil has expanded the organization from two annual events and executive consultation to five departments and 16 programs that benefit over 15,000 low- income individuals annually. DLF programs help the incarcerated and those newly released from prison, elderly, at-risk youth, and grassroots organizations with limited capacities. Some of Dallas Leadership Foundation’s significant accomplishments under Wil’s leadership over the last sixteen years include:
- Launched prison initiative impacting over 230 incarcerated men housed in four dormitories managed by Dallas Leadership Foundation at Hutchins State Jail with a recidivism rate eight times lower than the national
- Launched a youth mentorship initiative currently serving 2,400 students in ten Dallas county
- Expanded community development services from two to twelve target Dallas neighborhoods with minor and major home renovation, a crime prevention strategy, and long-term neighborhood revitalization
Wil received his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1987. He has a background in the Commercial Real Estate, Finance, and Insurance industries and is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). He sits on the boards of directors of Leadership Foundations International, UR Hope Foundation Board, Board Member of Macedonian Ministries, Dallas Leadership Foundation’s Board, is the Vice President of Economic Development for the African-American Pastor’s Coalition and a member of the Jubilee Park and Community Center Advisory Board.
Wil is an ordained minister and a member of Friendship West Baptist Church and a Pastoral Fellow at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. He married his wife Debra McCall in 1992, and they have two adult sons, Elisha (Tre) McCall, and Timothy McCall.
